Extensions
More room without moving. We build ground-floor extensions and second-storey additions, and we spend as much care on the join between old and new as on the new part itself.
Get a quote for extensionsWhat’s included
- Site visit, rough range on the day, then an itemised fixed-price quote
- Coordination with your designer, engineer and certifier
- Demolition, structure, roofing, cladding, windows and fit-out
- Weatherproofing the existing house while it’s opened up
- Final certification and handover documents
What drives the cost
Why two quotes for the same job can be far apart.
- Going up costs more than going out: the existing structure usually needs strengthening
- Site access, slope and what’s in the ground
- Wet areas (kitchens, bathrooms, laundries) cost far more per square metre than living space
- Matching existing materials, especially older brick and roof tiles
Good to know
Most extensions need a development approval or building approval before work starts. Allow time for it in your plans; we’ll tell you which applies after the site visit.
Tell us about your project
A short form is all it takes to start. We’ll get back to you within one business day, and tell you plainly whether we’re the right builder for it.
